Autism Acceptance Jersey 2024

cropped-Express-Logo-Small-1.png

I was approached by BCHL's Coquitlam Express to design the jersey for their Autism Acceptance Game in collaboration with Canucks Autism Network.

My design for this take was inspired in a way that takes the name Express and ties it on its head as I took inspiration from the SkyTrain system, which both the Expo Line and Millennium Line service the area.

I also added some creative liberties to the Express logo, inspired by the 2006 RBC Championship Burnaby Express, with now-former NHLer Kyle Turris leading that club.

There are infinity symbol patterns all over this design, and the term "is proud to support autism acceptance" underneath the player name and number is supposed to symbolize the player's support to show their dedication towards the cause.
